A juice fast, juice cleanse or juice detox first and foremost is neither food deprivation nor dieting. It involves eliminating certain high calorie, processed foods and habits from your diet for a short period, in order to capitalize on cell nourishing nutrients in detoxifying foods. These detoxifying foods assist and protects the organs of the body in doing their jobs right. A juice fast is not a quick fix, get me going kind of adventure. It is a long term commitment with yourself, for your health and well being. Fragrant Basil Juice Café offers a juice fast program that will assist you on your journey to healthy living. Results vary by individual goal and need and are not typical.
Fragrant Basil Juice Café offers 1, 3, 5, and 7 days Pulse Juice Fasts that are customised to the individual, based on need and expected result. If you are new to a juice fast, we recommend starting on the 1 plan, every one to two week or the three day plan every one to three months to introduce your body to the change and then switching to a 5 or 7 day plan every four to six months. Our more savvy cleanse clients are recommended to do our 5 or 7 days Pulse Juice Fast every four to six months dependent on need.
It is strongly adviseded that pregnant, nursing mothers and children do not participate in juice fasts. Please also consult with your physician before going on any juice fast, detox or cleanse program and check for any food interraction with any medications you are on.
